NBA star slings most Aussie insult ever at Trump and Clinton
NBA star Andrew Bogut has flummoxed the US media with a very Australian insult.
Indeed the insult was so Aussie the Dallas Mavericks centre had to take tow Twitter after his interview to explain it.
The story started about 2pm Monday (local time) after Bogut did an interview with Tommy Magelssen a reporter at the Dallas Morning News.
*Warning the passages below contain some unedited bad language.
Magelssen took to Twittter posting a story where the 31-year-old Australian was quoted as calling both Republican Donald Trump and Democrat Hillary Clinton "shit-ass".
When asked about American presidential candidates, Aussie @andrewbogut called Trump and Hillary Clinton "shit-ass" https://t.co/ARnx6TFTee

However Bogut was quick to correct the quote which had been lost in translation.
"No I didn't I said shithouse," Bogut posted on Twitter.
No I didnt. I said shithouse. https://t.co/VNSy1iyqfH

Firing back with a snappy correction Magelssen clarified with the quote below.
Just to clarify, @andrewbogut said "shithouse," not "shit-ass." My sincerest apologies to the people of Australia. https://t.co/kokaa5iL8X
