A PAIR of boaties have spotted something a bit fishy in the water near the Sunshine Coast - a swimming wallaby.
The saltwater skippy was seen swimming quite a far distance in the Great Sandy Straight, while onlookers expressed concern that the plucky paddler might exhaust himself before getting to the other side.
Luckily, those powerful legs proved to double as flippers, with the marsupial hopping off into the sunset.
The video was captured by a couple on a houseboat holiday with Rainbow Beach Houseboats, who shared the unusual footage to their Facebook page.
