4 THINGS TO DO THIS WEEKEND...

1. PIGGABEEN MARKET

Piggabeen Valley Market is on this Sunday, March 20 from 9am to 2pm (NSW). Handmade arts and crafts, home-baked treats, local produce, bric-a-brac and massages are available. There will be prizes given for the best hat. Once you finish your shopping, grab a picnic blanket and chill out with the live music. The markets are on the third Sunday of each month from March to November.

2. ERNEST THEATRE

Murwillumbah Theatre Company will present The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde at Murwillumbah Civic Centre. The play is considered Wilde’s crowning glory and one of the funniest plays written about the upper class in Victorian England. Today’s show starts at 7.30pm, and tomorrow’s starts at 2pm. 3. BLEACH FEST*

IT’S the last weekend of the BLEACH* Festival on the Gold Coast, which finishes on Sunday. For a full list of events and venues visit the website at www.bleach festival.com.au.

4. BLACK DOG

Riders from Northern NSW will gather in Byron Bay on Sunday for the Byron Bay Black Dog Ride. The one day event will raise awareness for depression and suicide prevention, with proceeds to Lifeline. Registration will open from 8am at Cavanbah Centre, 249 Ewingsdale Rd, Byron Bay. Stands up at 10am. The Ride will conclude at Rocky Creek Dam with lunch provided by Lismore Lions Club.
